Monterey Gourmet Foods of Salinas, California produces more than 120 different gourmet food products for nation-wide and international distribution. Its Salinas production facilities had numerous roofing challenges. The roofs are metal with skylights; exhaust fans, air conditioners and various rooftop equipment. Leaks were a major problem during the winter and excessive heat gain, an issue during the summer.
Dinyari, and the fluid applied system, were chosen from a list of 4 contractors for its ability to solve all of the company’s roofing issues at one time. Installation was completed without any disruption to its food production. Monterey Gourmet Foods is enjoying a leak-free roof for the first time with a 10-year warranty and is realizing considerable saving on energy costs.
