History

Dinyari Incorporated has a distinguished history of providing the highest levels of customer service, workmanship and materials in the roofing industry. It all began as the vision of Farbod “Buck” Dinyari. Buck began his building career in 1980 while still in school, working for general contractors on everything from foundations to retaining walls to building construction. By the mid-1980s he was working as a building superintendent on his father’s building projects. In 1989 Buck got his contractor’s license and did his very first large roof project, a 60,000-square-foot metal retrofit — and our company was born.

 

Between 1990 and 1995 Dinyari built several large commercial facilities from the ground up, and by this time we also had a roof maintenance company that was doing repairs and maintenance on shopping centers and other commercial buildings. The company kept evolving until roof installation took precedence over roof maintenance until finally, in 1999, the company incorporated into its current form. By 2006, Dinyari Incorporated had over 200 roofers and several crews working on projects throughout the state of California. That same year, we ranked 45th in RSI Magazine’s annual Top 100 list of contractors. By 2007, we were busy converting our fleet of more than 40 vehicles to biodiesel as part of our commitment to “green” building.

 

2008, of course, brought new challenges to our industry. As we approached the downturn in the economy, we relied heavily on previous clients — property managers, facility managers, building owners, and investors handling multiple facilities — who had been won over by our value, service and professionalism. We continue to grow our company with new customers who are happy to refer us to others who need high-quality roofing services. As we grow our business, we also continue to expand our capabilities. In 2010, Dinyari started its Metal Buildings Division, giving us the ability to erect metal buildings of various types and sizes for storage, warehousing and other commercial applications.

 

As a leader in the roofing business, Dinyari has been honored with numerous industry awards. Carlisle recognized us as a Hall of Fame Contractor when we first achieved 250 “perfect 10″ ratings for our work. Today, we’re the only roofing contractor in the state of California to hold a ranking of 500 “perfect 10″ ratings.
